Our EM Family Is Growing
The Prime Inventions EM GFP Premium is a sintered activated carbon block filter cartridge for drinking water filtration, with a pore size of approx. 0.4 μm. Compared with the main type EM Premium 5, EM GFP cartridges contain 55% more activated carbon by mass.
The amount of activated carbon influences the adsorptive retention rate (ARR) and adsorption retention capacity (ARC). Compared with the standard NFP, the adsorptive retention rate is approx. 120% and the retention capacity approx. 130%.
Due to these properties, the filter cartridge is suitable for applications with increased adsorption requirements, for example for the reduction of pharmaceutical residues, decolorization, and the reduction of odor- and chlorine-related substances.
The EM ceramic is incorporated into the filter cartridge as a powder during the manufacturing process. This provides a large contact surface for interaction with the water.
The EM GFP Premium combines the filtration technology of a Carbonit® GFP Premium activated carbon block with integrated EM ceramic.
