Remineralisation Cartridge
AA Calci is an optional remineralisation cartridge that adds small amounts of minerals to filtered water. In reverse osmosis systems, it can be installed either between the storage tank and the faucet or directly after the reverse osmosis membrane. As the water passes very slowly over the coral calcium when installed directly after the reverse osmosis membrane, the remineralisation effect is greater than with installation between the tank and the faucet. AA Calci can also be used as a supplement to conventional water filtration systems.
The Okinawa calcium granulate is sourced under controlled conditions off the coast of Okinawa. Fossilised corals from this region are also used to produce food supplements in powder form, for example for enriching muesli, as well as calcium tablets. For Prime Inventions, a coarser granulate is produced with a particle size and composition suitable for the remineralisation of drinking water.
The Calci EM version additionally contains EM Pipes. Further information about EM can be found in the EM-5 filter cartridge section.
Service life:
Up to one year, depending on usage.
Notes:
The calcium granulate has been sterilised by heat treatment. Please install the cartridge under hygienic conditions.
